We seek a dedicated Public Health Emergency Coordinator to lead disaster response initiatives, coordinate interagency operations, and implement crisis mitigation strategies. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency response plans for public health crises
- Coordinate with FEMA, state health departments, and community partners
- Manage disaster supply chains and resource allocation
- Conduct risk assessments for vulnerable populations
- Train staff on emergency protocols and public health interventions
- Lead post-event recovery planning and impact analysis
- Prepare federal grant applications for emergency preparedness funding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of emergency response coordination experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) preferred
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency software
- Strong knowledge of NIMS/ICS protocols
- Experience with federal grant reporting (FEMA, CDC)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid Texas driver's license
