Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 99% accuracy
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for completeness
- Ensure compliance with 38 CFR and VA policy guidelines
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans via phone/email
- Maintain electronic records in VA's VBA system
- Collaborate with medical staff and legal advisors on complex cases
- Train on new VA regulations and procedural updates quarterly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 60+ college credits (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years in claims processing or administrative documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Strong attention to detail and error-spotting abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and favorable background check required
- Must pass VA's privacy and ethics training
