Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets to ensure high-quality input for analysis.
- Develop statistical models and comprehensive reports to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Ensure rigorous data security and strict compliance with federal standards, guidelines, and privacy laws.
- Present complex data findings to stakeholders and technical teams in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner.
- Maintain and update data documentation, metadata repositories, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify trends and anomalies within data to provide recommendations for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis within the federal sector or government contracting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS for complex data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., FedRAMP, GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
