Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous data collection and analysis for federal contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAS to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including OMB Circular A-11 and ITAR/EAR requirements during data handling.
- Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits, cleaning, and validating large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations based on empirical evidence.
- Support security protocols by following NIST cybersecurity frameworks and internal data governance policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal reporting standards and data privacy laws (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA).
- Availability: Must be available for a part-time schedule (20-30 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work arrangements.
