Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, NIST protocols, and IT security policies.
- Manage and maintain end-user devices, including laptops, tablets, and peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and operating systems.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in the Service Desk Management System.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and system performance.
- Conduct routine system audits and hardware inventory checks.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or help desk operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple technical tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-30 hours per week) as required.
