Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for federal hardware, software, and network systems.
- Implement and monitor federal cybersecurity protocols, including access control and data protection measures.
- Collaborate with federal program managers and technical teams to deliver IT solutions that meet agency objectives.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and compliance procedures for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the procurement, installation, and deployment of new federal IT assets and software.
- Stay current with federal regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and apply best practices to daily operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or federal government IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT compliance standards, network security, and data privacy laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to federal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
