Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems within the federal agency.</li><li>Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Configure and secure user accounts, access controls, and network devices according to federal security protocols (NIST).</li><li>Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.</li><li>Document technical procedures and assist in the training of junior staff members.</li><li>Respond to service tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions; proof of citizenship will be requested during the hiring process.</li><li>Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting is mandatory.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation (Public Trust) clearance.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.</li><li>Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required by agency needs.</li><li>Ability to pass a drug screening and security vetting process.</li></ul>
