Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and claims with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate outreach programs to connect veterans with healthcare and housing resources
- Maintain accurate digital records in VA systems and documentation databases
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in quarterly compliance reviews and process improvement initiatives
- Support community engagement events at local veteran centers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Associate's degree or 2 years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with military/veteran populations preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
- Knowledge of federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA) a plus
