Responsibilities
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards and environmental compliance
- Provide visitor assistance and interpretive services at City Park and Louis Armstrong Park
- Enforce park regulations through courteous communication
- Conduct routine facility inspections and maintenance reports
- Support special weekend events and festivals
- Document incidents and coordinate with emergency services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Experience in customer service or public safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of local flora and fauna
- Strong communication skills in English
