Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain physical and electronic federal records in accordance with established retention schedules.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date databases for case files and administrative documents.
- Retrieve and distribute sensitive information to authorized personnel and veterans promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with privacy laws, security regulations, and departmental protocols.
- Conduct regular audits of filing systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the archiving of historical documents and preparation of disposal reports.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in records management, office administration, or data entry preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Background Check: Must be willing and able to pass a federal background investigation and drug screen.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
