Responsibilities
- Process and administer veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs
- Coordinate with community partners for veteran outreach initiatives
- Maintain confidential records using VA-specific systems
- Provide personalized guidance to veterans and their families
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates
- Support veteran events and local resource fairs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and background clearance
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 1+ years customer service or case management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license
