Responsibilities
- Manage Communications: Answer phones, screen calls, and greet visitors professionally at the front desk.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for departmental files.
- Office Support: Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service: Assist the public with inquiries regarding county services and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Scheduling: Coordinate meeting rooms and assist with scheduling appointments for staff members.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office setting or public service environment is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings.
