Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and organization of public records and official documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, city departments, and stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Conduct research on state and local government regulations to support policy development.
- Support the collection and entry of data for municipal projects, ensuring high levels of accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor and assist in the compliance of departmental procedures and internal policies.
- Prepare reports and summaries of findings for senior management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative support, data entry, or government operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic knowledge of database management systems.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
