Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain digital and physical filing systems for government records.
- Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate departments with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Answer high-volume phone inquiries and route calls to the correct staff members efficiently.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for county officials.
- Assist the public with basic inquiries regarding county services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive citizen information and government documents.
- Ensure all office equipment and supplies are stocked and functioning correctly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative, office, or government setting is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
