Responsibilities
- Process and file a high volume of legal documents, case files, and correspondence with strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Perform accurate data entry into the City's case management systems and update records as necessary.
- Provide exceptional front-desk customer service, answering inquiries and directing visitors to the appropriate departments.
- Assist in scheduling court appearances, managing calendars, and coordinating meeting rooms for judicial staff.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure quick retrieval of information.
- Prepare reports and summaries of daily activities for department heads.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, legal, or municipal office setting is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and court officials.
