Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage and process incoming correspondence, mail, and electronic communications in a timely manner.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping tasks using state government databases and filing systems.
- Office Operations: Answer and direct telephone calls, greet visitors, and provide general information to the public.
- Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meeting packets, reports, and official documents.
- Inventory Control: Monitor office supply levels and coordinate reordering to ensure operational readiness.
- Project Assistance: Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or administrative certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or government office setting is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adhere to government compliance standards.
