Responsibilities
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding state services, benefits, and programs via phone and in-person.
- Process and maintain accurate records in state databases and filing systems.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and reports as directed by supervisors.
- Support administrative functions during peak operational hours.
- Attend scheduled departmental meetings, training sessions, and briefings.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while interacting with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity.
- Previous experience in customer service, public administration, or administrative support is highly desirable.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or evenings as required.
