Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of citizen inquiries and service requests.
- Assist in the processing of applications for local government benefits and permits.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to the public via phone, email, and in-person.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by senior management.
- Support the organization of council meetings and community engagement events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
