Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with funders' priorities
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and narrative content
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate submission records
- Build and maintain relationships with potential funding partners
- Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic approaches
- Support grant budget development and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Nonprofit Management, English, Communications, etc.)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven success securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with Miami's nonprofit landscape preferred
- Experience with grant databases (e.g., Candid, GrantStation)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
