Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate sources
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to funders
- Collaborate with program staff to gather program data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application pipeline and ensure timely submission compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and community partners
- Analyze funding trends and report on grant outcomes to leadership
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years professional grant writing experience with demonstrated success
- Portfolio of $1M+ secured grants in education, health, or human services
- Expertise in federal (e.g., SAM.gov), state, and foundation grant processes
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, GrantStation)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and outcome reporting
