Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Collaborate with program teams to gather project information and impact data
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Track funding trends and provide strategic recommendations
- Maintain accurate records in grant management database
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven success securing $500k+ in annual grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Expertise in federal, state, and private foundation grants
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical and budget preparation abilities
- Experience with nonprofit financial systems and reporting
