Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal end-user hardware and software.
- Manage and monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal IT security standards, protocols, and FISMA regulations.
- Perform regular system backups, data integrity checks, and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve service delivery.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs.
- Assist in the deployment and inventory management of IT assets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows environments, and basic Linux systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work part-time hours (20-30 hours per week).
