Responsibilities
- Receive, screen, and direct incoming communications, including calls, emails, and visitors, ensuring accurate information flow.
- Manage and maintain physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are organized, secure, and easily retrievable.
- Perform high-volume data entry and word processing tasks, ensuring 100% accuracy in records and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of meeting packets, agendas, and official correspondence.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders using standard accounting software.
- Answer general inquiries from the public regarding departmental services and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate administrative needs and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree or certification in Office Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations and government officials.
- Understanding of basic government regulations and public service standards is a plus.
