Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of state policies, trends, and regulations affecting the San Francisco community.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and legislative bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and databases regarding program outcomes, budget allocations, and compliance metrics.
- Attend public meetings and stakeholder forums to gather feedback and communicate agency goals.
- Assist in the drafting of memos and policy recommendations that align with state objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Ability to work part-time hours (20-25 hours per week) with the ability to attend occasional evening meetings.
