Responsibilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for construction/maintenance projects
- Perform groundskeeping, landscaping, and debris removal in public spaces
- Assist with road repairs, storm drain clearing, and snow removal operations
- Safely handle materials and complete daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with crew members to execute project timelines efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city maintenance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarity preferred
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Reliable transportation to work sites across Allegheny County
