Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city sidewalks, streets, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including sweepers, mowers, and hand tools safely
- Assist in park beautification projects including landscaping and litter removal
- Support stormwater management through drain clearing and debris removal
- Collaborate with crew leaders to execute daily work orders efficiently
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Document work activities and maintain equipment in proper condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction safety
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability
- Prefer 6 months of construction or maintenance experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
