Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in construction projects including signage installation and drainage improvements
- Collect and dispose of debris/waste following environmental regulations
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 certification preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime
- Experience with hand/power tools or landscaping equipment preferred
