We're seeking motivated Part-Time Laborers to support essential municipal projects including street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs. Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and landscape projects
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Assist with traffic control and safety zone setup during construction
- Collect and dispose of construction debris and hazardous materials
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Support emergency response during weather-related infrastructure incidents
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
