Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance and landscaping in public parks and facilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, pressure washers) with proper training
- Assist in road repair projects including pothole patching and sign installation
- Support stormwater management through drain cleaning and debris removal
- Conduct routine facility maintenance tasks like painting and minor repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
