Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, landscape maintenance, and debris removal
- Operate light equipment like lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers
- Assist in construction zone setup/breakdown and traffic control management
- Conduct routine inspections of public areas and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city maintenance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and landscaping equipment
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Previous landscaping/construction experience preferred
