Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (sweepers, mowers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in park beautification and landscape maintenance projects
- Support storm drain cleaning and flood control infrastructure upkeep
- Participate in emergency response tasks during weather events
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor outdoors
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Preferred: 6 months of construction/maintenance experience
- Preferred: Ability to speak Spanish (bilingual encouraged)
