Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided equipment (trucks, loaders, graders) for infrastructure maintenance
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
- Complete daily inspection logs and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class E Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months (training provided)
