Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, compactors) under supervision
- Ensure worksite cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols
- Support emergency response activities during weather events
- Complete routine inspections and basic repairs on public property
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
