Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate heavy machinery safely (e.g., dump trucks, backhoes, loaders)
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and water quality control projects
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate work records and safety documentation
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or public works preferred
- Certification in heavy equipment operation highly desirable
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance
