Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, park maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist with infrastructure repairs and public property maintenance projects
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards for construction zones
- Participate in stormwater management and debris removal operations
- Support traffic control and flagging during public works activities
- Complete daily equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus
- Residency in San Joaquin County preferred
