Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and equipment operation under field supervision
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance projects (roads, drainage systems, public facilities)
- Operate machinery and tools safely (backhoes, jackhammers, pressure washers)
- Complete digital work logs and reports via remote portal during off-site hours
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using virtual communication tools
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic computer literacy for remote documentation tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools or heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
