Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, grading, and paving.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and storm drains.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure job sites remain clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and public service requests as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
