Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official municipal records with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process public record requests following Kentucky Open Records guidelines
- Digitize documents using advanced document management systems
- Verify data accuracy and maintain audit trails for compliance
- Collaborate with department heads on records retention policies
- Assist with FOIA request fulfillment and response coordination
- Train on Louisville-specific records management software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred
- 1+ years records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for sensitive data
- Knowledge of Kentucky public records regulations preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation for occasional off-site record retrieval
