Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records in compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws
- Process public record requests with attention to confidentiality and deadlines
- Utilize county databases for document retrieval and filing
- Assist constituents with records inquiries via phone and in-person
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on sensitive documents
- Conduct regular audits of record-keeping systems
- Support special projects including digitization of historical documents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in records management or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and record-keeping databases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of Florida public records regulations
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting
