Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official court records and case files in strict accordance with state and local government regulations.
- Process incoming mail, faxes, and digital data entry requests with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Assist the public and court staff by answering inquiries regarding case status, filing procedures, and document requests.
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and security of sensitive government information at all times.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to streamline filing systems, digitize records, and improve overall workflow efficiency.
- Perform periodic audits of records to ensure completeness and compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Business Administration or Public Records Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative support, records management, or customer service role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new government-specific software systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting professionally with the public and internal staff.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established government protocols and deadlines.
