Responsibilities
- Process and file a high volume of incoming mail, applications, and official documents accurately and efficiently.
- Assist the public and state employees by answering inquiries via phone, email, or in-person at the service counter.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate databases for various state programs and records.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as requested by supervisors or department heads.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations, privacy laws, and departmental policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and filing system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, administrative, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
