Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail and Packages: Efficiently sort and deliver mail and parcels to residences and businesses along an assigned route.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve service issues professionally.
- Route Management: Adhere to the prescribed route and time standards, ensuring 100% on-time delivery.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical activities including walking, standing, bending, and lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and USPS policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Mail Processing: Manually sort mail and packages accurately before the start of the delivery day.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy items and walk/hike long distances in all weather conditions.
- Driving: A valid driver's license is required (if applicable to the specific assignment).
