Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize incoming mail and packages before delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Maintain the security of the mail and ensure accountability of all items handled.
- Inspect mail vehicles for safety and proper maintenance.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid state driver's license required (depending on route assignment).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and on weekends/holidays as required.
