Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along assigned routes in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Sort mail accurately and load it onto delivery vehicles before the route begins.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing exceptional service.
- Maintain a high level of physical stamina to walk and lift packages throughout the day.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail handled during delivery.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all routes are completed within the required timeframe.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
