Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along a designated route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and hold mail efficiently before the start of the daily delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Load and unload mail and packages from delivery vehicles safely and correctly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
- Handle physical tasks, including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Follow all safety protocols and USPS operational standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and ability to distinguish colors.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (if applicable to the specific role type).
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read maps and directions.
