Responsibilities
- Route Delivery: Deliver mail and packages along a designated route in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Mail Sorting: Sort incoming mail and parcels for delivery according to address and ZIP code.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize handheld scanning devices and vehicle controls to manage packages and routes.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (commercial license not required).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/drive for extended periods, and perform physical tasks outdoors.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
