Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an assigned route in all weather conditions.
- Sort and organize mail on a walking route or vehicle route as required.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve inquiries.
- Operate a USPS vehicle (if applicable) or walk while carrying a heavy load of mail.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and time standards for delivery efficiency.
- Manage mail bundles and ensure proper handling of sensitive documents.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident alien.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (if vehicle route is required).
- Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat, rain, and cold.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
