Responsibilities
- Process and review veterans' disability compensation claims with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist claimants with documentation requirements and application procedures
- Communicate effectively with veterans, family members, and stakeholders regarding claim status
- Maintain accurate records in federal case management systems
- Collaborate with legal and medical teams to resolve complex claim issues
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans throughout the claims process
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of veterans' benefits programs preferred
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
