Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including FERS and TSP for employees in Wisconsin/Texas regions
- Process retirement claims with 99.8% accuracy and 48-hour turnaround
- Conduct pension audits and ensure strict compliance with OPM regulations
- Develop retirement education workshops for federal employees
- Manage pension disbursements and coordinate with payroll systems
- Analyze pension fund performance using federal accounting standards
- Collaborate with state agencies on multi-state pension initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or Public Administration required
- 3+ years pension administration experience (federal preferred)
- Expertise in FERS/CSRS regulations and OPM guidelines
- Proficient in federal HRIS systems (e.g., HRConnect, NEHR)
- Series 7 or Series 63 securities license required
- Advanced Excel/Power BI skills for pension modeling
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for Texas outreach
