Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, distributions, and member records
- Ensure compliance with federal/state retirement regulations (ERISA, TRS)
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations
- Provide expert guidance to members on retirement planning
- Collaborate with investment and actuarial teams
- Generate compliance reports for regulatory agencies
- Train staff on pension administration procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Public Administration
- 3+ years pension/retirement benefits experience
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Texas retirement systems
- Advanced Excel and database management skills
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with pension administration software
- Texas state residency required
